Hello! I am an Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula serving the Sarasota area. I care for mothers and new families in the 6 week postpartum window after birth with traditional postpartum care practices designed to restore and mothers health, vitality and overall well-bring on all levels. My in-home care services include freshly prepared postpartum specific foods, herbal preparations and teas to support optimal digestion, lactation and rejuvenation. Special attention is given to each mothers individual experiences and needs. I teach Ayurvedic oil application (self -abhyanga) to mothers and infant abhyanga for families to do for their babies. I prepare and provide massage oils, herbal baths, sitz baths and facilitate vaginal steaming. I am able to support you in ways that are most helpful for your family during this precious and beautiful time in your families journey. Compassionate companionship, breastfeeding support/referrals, cloth diapering support, light housekeeping, product recommendations etc. are provided as needed to create a comfortable and easeful postpartum experience. I received my certification through The Center for Sacred Window Studies as an Ayurvedic Postpartum Caregiver in 2020. Certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor through The National Ayurvedic Medical Association in 2014. Certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher YTT 200 in 2014 and Certification as a Holistic Health Counselor in 2004. My work in guided by traditional wisdom and inspired by lived experience. I firmly believe that all mothers need support in their postpartum journey and that no mother should go it alone. I look forward to serving your family!

I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, certified breastfeeding counselor, and certified childbirth educator. Being a doula for over 1.5 years, I've found that doula work comes naturally to me.
